guiding you through grief, loss, and new life
Introducing Deep River Healing

Introducing Deep River Healing

I’m pleased to announce that The Fluent Body, having lived long and well, has given way to the latest incarnation of my healing practice: Deep River Healing. This transformation happened within the hibernation of a long extended Winter, where The Fluent Body no longer felt true, but what did want to come into being remained unclear. Clues came to me, sage advice, a dread restlessness, and with all that I stumbled forward. Anyone who creates and heals knows this sense of feeling your way through the dark, or in this case, the Dark Night of The Soul.

Deep River Healing supports you through grief, loss, and new life that is emerging. The practice itself was birthed from my own process of grief. All the losses I’ve experienced in 51 years of life highlighted what remains: gratitude for the creative healing gifts I’ve been given and a stronger, clearer desire to share them.

I invite you to peruse this website and to like my Facebook page, Deep River Healing. I will be sharing every week on the blog here. Please share with friends if moved to do so.

  1. Hi Carol,

What a beautiful post, and congratulations on your recent transformation and transition to Deep River Healing!

I recently had a similar experience, the Dark Night of the Soul. It was intense, but I am so grateful for who and what I am.

Also, by reading your post, it gave me a great amount of encouragement to know that I am not alone.

    So, thank you for sharing!!

    In love & gratitude,

    • Hi, Keiko – Sorry I am just seeing this. You are not alone. We are all feeling our way with our gifts, and I’m glad to know you are sharing yours. Blessings, Carol
