Post-Election Tarot Reading

Post-Election Tarot Reading

I sometimes orient myself with a tarot card reading. Today, I pulled these cards, so apt to where we are as a nation and within ourselves.

The Two of Swords – blocked vision, stalemate –  two forces coming to an impasse with the resolution hidden or not wanting to be known.

The Hanged Man XII – a fall in self-image or ego or the loss of material belongings in order to transform the lower nature into the higher self. Hanging in limbo to contemplate our errors and learn how to transcend them.

Five of Disks – Worry – about external things like health, finances, work, creativity, relationships. Worry about how our communication is coming across, our productivity and ability to apply communication effectively.

In the next 5 weeks/months an opportunity to release that worry. Or release old worry patterns that go back 5 months/years ago or at 5 years of age. Worry takes us back into the past and into the future, keeps us out of the present. Collapse worry by staying in the present. Look to release inherited worry patterns or worry about Taurus people (born April 21-May 21).

So:

  • Stay in the present moment and deal with what’s right in front of you.
  • Surrender what is no longer serving – ideas about other people, attachment to what didn’t happen, and worry about what’s to come.
  • Meditate and investigate for what is your way forward.
