All Alone or All One?

Hi Friend,

Maybe you too were heartened and inspired at a recent NO KINGS march. We don’t have to imagine 7 million other Americans (plus so many around the world) standing up with us for more humane ways to be in our society. It happened. And it will happen again.

This introvert felt safe with so many others saying YES to the best in us. YES to all the voices speaking, shouting, chanting, and singing for life-sustaining things we can preserve and create together.

Our materialist culture pushes competition and scarcity and doing things all by your lonesome. Feeling all alone is the devastating result of buying into this illusion of separation.

But we can choose to live in an interdependent world. We can strengthen connection with other people, reach out to ask for or offer help, and join forces to spark a collaboration. I’m trying to break the isolating and overly self-reliant habits. Are you too?

In addition to reconnecting with our fellow humans, we can cooperate with the forces of Nature: the elements, the plants, trees, land, waters, and the animals. AND with the Ancestors, people who lived before us and continue on in essence and energy. We can reach back and within and out to the Ancestors too, who want us to succeed in life now.

You can go back far enough in your Ancestral lines and you will find people who lived in harmony with their natural world and with each other. What of that interconnection can we revive now?

FINAL DAYS TO SIGN UP

Join us for guided meditation to meet a bloodline Ancestor and a cultural Ancestor, then make a collage inspired by what they’ve shared with you. It’s a chance to connect with those who’ve gone before us and learn from their lived experience.
